Broad Haven South Beach lie’s between Stackpole and Bosherston in South Pembrokeshire, Wales. It’s gorgeous – a wide sandy beach backed by dunes and flanked by limestone cliffs.

Just out to sea is the limestone stack of Church Rock, a church-shaped rock off Broad Haven beach.

Broad Haven South better than Barafundle?

Broad Haven South beach is just two miles away from Barafundle – and the National Trust would like more people to visit Broad Haven South as Barafundle does get super busy. (120,000 visitors compared to 40,000 for the two beaches)

The Trust said: “Swapping Barafundle for Broad Haven South will help conserve the coast by spreading the people across the estate, reducing the erosion of footpaths, minimising the disturbance to wildlife in the dunes, and ensuring less litter is being washed out to sea.”
