A super pretty little harbour or cove near St Davids. It’s is a popular spot for launching SUP’s, canoes and kayaks. There is a hotspot for crabbing too!

Porthclais (also known as Porth Clais) is a small sheltered inlet harbour near St Davids, Pembrokeshire, Wales.

The harbour was built in the 12th century to serve the city of St David’s and became a busy port, importing and exporting goods for the coastal communities. Timber, grain, limestone and coal were among the items traded. Like lots of the little harbours on the Pembrokeshire coast these imports fed the onshore lime kilns. At Porthclais you can still see the lime kilns on either side of the harbour.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path, often called the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, is one of the most beautifully breathtaking coastlines in Britain.
