Tresaith Beach is a gorgeous seaside village on the Cardigan Bay coast of West Wales.

Tresaith is a small sheltered sandy bay named after the River Saith. This same river provides one of the most beautiful waterfalls in West Wales. Falling over cliffs onto the beach at Tresaith.

Tresaith is popular with watersport enthusiasts, being particularly good for sailing and surfing. It’s a Blue Flag Award beach.

Tresaith ticks lots of boxes of the perfect place to visit for families. Rocks for rock pooling, a Waterfall, a Beach where you can swim, surf and sail, public toilets, a café, a first aid post, a shop and a pub – The Ship Inn which does great food and drink with lots of tables overlooking the beach and Cardigan Bay!

The Mid Wales Coast Path means you can walk from Tresaith to next door Aberporth at low tide it is possible to walk along the foreshore all the way to the golden beaches of Penbryn, to the north. (Remember to check the tides – it’s possible to get cut off!) Walkers often see seals and dolphins close to the shore along this beautiful stretch of the Ceredigion coast.
