Beautiful Abercastle (Abercastell) in Pembrokeshire.

Known in the olden days as Cwm Badau or Bay of Boats, Abercastle had a decent trade with Bristol and Liverpool carrying local slate, stone and corn. Right up to the 1920s oats and stone from the local quarries, were still being shipped out. There are still the remains of nineteenth-century limekilns.

There is a small beach and a harbour used mostly by recreational and small fishing boats. Situated at the end of a narrow lane is the sandy beach which is sheltered and also home to a small stream that flows down the northern side of the beach.

The inlet is sheltered from the prevailing winds making it ideal for kayakers and boats.

Sadly, we are out of stock of ALL our inhouse frames - due to ongoing building work, we unfortunately will not have space to store our frames so for the foreseeable future we are selling our posters as just that - posters.
